Ability to reorder items in a workboard column

Hi Sunniva,
Basically I want to manually order what I do first in the day, not by type, priority or a-z we have clients that we like doing in order like inter entity and they have the same types etc so per daily reconciliations and those that we send queries that day, I want to do that client's bank rec and the group but instead of doing the other bank recs, I then want to send their queries which is a different task. Basically I want to be able to manually organise my day based on how I feel that day.... well how my workflow works best

The Work Board is designed to stay consistent and automatically ordered, which means any manual ordering would be lost as soon as you refresh or change views/page.
For organising your day and deciding what to work on first, these two existing features may help:
- Saved Viewslet you create personalised views using filters forclientsandprocesses(like Bank Recs) and sorting that match how you like to work, so you can quickly return to the same setup each day.
- The Work Priority Boardis designed specifically for day-to-day execution. You can prioritise individual tasks from the Work Board and then order and work through them in the sequence that makes the most sense for you in Work Priority.

Currently, the Work Board offers several automatic sorting options designed to keep your items organised without manual effort:
- Priority – Keeps your most important items at the top
- Type – Groups items by their work type
- Due – Shows what's due soonest so nothing slips through
- Start – Organises by when work is scheduled to begin
- Status – Arranges items by their current progress
- Client – Groups work by client so you can focus on one client at a time
- Process – Groups items by workflow or process type
- Assigned to – See who's responsible for what at a glance
These options automatically re-sort your board, which means your view stays consistent and up-to-date without needing to manually maintain it.
- Adding manual ordering would mean that any time you applied one of these sorts, your custom arrangement would be overridden.
If you could share a bit more about what you're trying to achieve and what isn't quite working with the current sorting options – that would really help us understand the need better and explore possible solutions 😊
