From what’s written, this seems to be based on a single user wanting quicker access to a client’s external document folder (SharePoint / Google Drive / FYI) while working on tasks in XBert.
However, the request mixes several different approaches (client setting, templates, notes, auto-injecting links on tasks) without a clear view of:
- where the link actually needs to surface (task view, template, notes, elsewhere)
- how often it’s used
- which roles benefit
- and what existing behaviour isn’t working today (given Client Notes already allow storing links)
Before logging or progressing this further, I think we need clarity on:
- the specific workflow where this breaks down today
- why existing options (client notes / attachments / resolve links) are insufficient
- and whether this is a repeatable customer problem or an isolated preference
Happy to revisit once we have a clearer use case and impact.
